Aluminium Auto Pistons for two and four stroke
vehicles at Kalol in Gujarat, India. The Company has
gained
a technological edge over other conventional pistons by virtue

established Maruti Piston (P) Ltd. in 1991.
Its manufacturing plant, equipped with state-of-the-art machineries,
is located at Kalol, SH-41 Highway, North Gujarat, only 30
km from Ahmedabad.

against the common problems of
scuffing and
piston-seizing.

What
is Hypereutectic?
Hypo-eutectic is a term referring to aluminium
containing less than 12% silicon content. It is not widely
used today.
Eutectic contains
12% to 12.5% silicon content. Commonly used for cast pistons,
12.5% silicon content is the maximum
amount that aluminium materials will contain without
special melting and casting processes.
Hyper-Eutectic
refers to an aluminium alloy having silicon content greater
than 12.5%. Special melting processes are necessary to
‘super-saturate’
the aluminium with additional silicon content. 16.5% is considered
ideal for piston casting. Special moulds, casting and cooling
techniques are required to obtain finely and uniformly
dispersed silicon particles throughout the
material.
Hypereutectic pistons
are highly resistant to scuffing,
heat and wear.

with Goetze ring purchased
directly from the manufacturer and is now in a position to
offer the complete kit consisting of Piston,
Piston Ring etc.
Maruti
Pistons has also started marketing GRATCO
brand 4-Stroke Engine Bi-Metal Valves
for Hero Honda, Yamaha, CBZ, TVS Spectra, Bajaj Kawasaki etc.
motorbikes on an all-India basis via its extensive marketing
network.
